There is a wide range of training, events and networking opportunities available to BNI members both regionally, nationally and internationally.
Events are posted on the regional website www.business-ni.com/events and emailed regularly by our Training & Events Ambassador, Gillian Campbell.
Each chapter has an events co-ordinator who will keep members informed at chapter meetings.
How to book, timings and what to bring:
Please book your place through your Chapter Events Co-ordinators who will book on your behalf through the Training & Events Ambassador.
There is a registration and open networking time allotted to each of the trainings which is a great opportunity to meet other members and network. Trainings will begin and end promptly at the times noted on the schedule.
Bring your name badge and plenty of business cards to each training. Some trainings will require additional items which will be notified in advance. There is a standard £10 charge to cover refreshments and meeting room hire for skills workshops.
Member Success Programme:
This training helps members understand the essential and key structures which are so powerful for helping the member make more money and grow their business through BNI. It is a great refresher training and members should attend this after every two years in BNI. It is compulsory for new members in their first 60 days. New members should be booked onto this training by their Chapter Director at their New Member’s Orientation in the same meeting that they receive their new member’s pack.
Leadership Handover Training:
Every six months the Leadership Team, Membership Committee, Visitor Hosts, Events Co-ordinator and Education Co-ordinator come together to set goals, plan their term and train on how to complete their role.
Leadership Team Forum:
During their term this is a unique opportunity for leadership teams to come together, network and exchange ideas. Leadership teams review their goals together and plan for the rest of their term.
Skills Workshops:
A variety of skills workshops are regularly available to BNI members to enhance their skills and abilities to give and get more referrals and market their business more effectively within and outside of BNI.
Profitable Presentations Workshop:
Improve your 60 seconds, 10 minutes and 1:1 communication and presentations to maximise the business you get from your chapter and the referrals you are able to find for your fellow members. Get the most out of your communication and it will help you to get your message across so that you are using your time effectively and productively.
Quality Referral Workshop:
This workshop focuses on easy actions you can take during the week to make sure you have lots of quality referrals for your fellow members. Find out what to do to ensure you are getting the referrals you want and a host of creative ways of bringing new business to your fellow chapter members.
Power Team Workshop:
Members receive most of their referrals from people in the same power team as themselves. This workshop shows you how to gain from this multiplier effect of being in a power team and ensure that there are members in your chapter to give to you. Come to this workshop to learn how to harness the power of the power team to make sure you can more easily find referrals for your fellow members and gain referrals for your chapter.
Regional & International Events:
Regional events and members days give BNI Northern Ireland members and opportunity to network outside their region and see high quality speakers give expert tips on networking and referrals. There is a National Member’s Day in June this year designed especially for members who want to network at a higher level and learn more about how to produce exceptional results for their business through BNI.
